Father Christmas is coming to Wheelock Hall Farm. We are so excited to be able to bring this experience to our customers.
Please be aware that we will remain open as normal during this event. We open every day from 9am until 6:30pm. Standard Ticket prices remain un-changed for those wishing to visit for the day as normal. Santa’s Grotto is an exciting new addition.
The grotto will be assembled inside our indoor play barn.
Santa’s Grotto is most suitable for children aged 0-8 years.
Every child must be accompanied by at least one adult.
This experience is designed to incorporate a day out at Wheelock Hall Farm plus a visit to Santa’s Grotto. It is not possible to purchase a cheaper ticket just to meet him.
When booking, you must purchase tickets for yourself as well as your children. A child’s ticket is £25.00. Ages 1 year and above. A sibling ticket can be purchased in the same time slot for £20.00. Up to three children’s tickets can be purchased for one time slot. *** An option to book an infant ticket is now also available at a reduced price *** Families with more than three children must book two time slots. This is to ensure Father Christmas has enough time with each child and to ensure your visit is not rushed. Accompanying adults will be charged our standard rate of £2.99. Any additional adults attending that have not purchased a ticket online, can pay on the gate. All Children’s tickets must be purchased online and in advance. This is to ensure proper planning and to ensure we have enough gifts for all children visiting.
You must arrive at the Grotto in good time, we recommend 10-15 minutes before your allotted time slot. There will be plenty to see and do in the grotto whilst you queue, such as photo opportunities and letter writing.
Father Christmas will be ready to greet you and to bring the magic along with his helpers. Adults must accompany their children into the Grotto.
Your purchased ticket includes entry to Wheelock Hall Farm for the day. The farm is open from 9am until 6:30pm daily. You are welcome to arrive early and play before your time slot, and you are also welcome to stay and play afterwards. You are free to chose. However we must stress that you must be ready to greet Santa at the time which you have chosen. Should you miss your time slot we cannot guarantee that you will have another opportunity. Tickets will not be refunded unless exceptional circumstances have been agreed upon between the customer and the owners.
Your ticket fee also includes a present from Santa. These presents have been carefully selected and lovingly wrapped. We have different gifts for age groups, you can select which age range you require at the checkout. Once you have chosen your gift, this cannot be exchanged or refunded.
After you have experienced Santa’s grotto, you are welcome to stay and play. Our play areas and shop are open until 6:30pm. Inside the shop you will find rooms full of Christmas gifts, toys and collectables. Our tea room is open until 4:00pm serving delicious fresh meals, children’s lunch boxes, hot/cold drinks and snacks. We especially recommend the chips, we use our own home grown potatoes!
Wristbands must be worn at all times. If a child does not wish to wear the wristband, then a parent can wear it on their behalf. Any customer who is not wearing a wristband, and has no proof of payment may be asked to leave.
